Chul larki teray chkar main hum shair hogay

chul larki teray chkar main hum shair hogay
thay rustum bhut pahlay ab kayar hogay
ana parasti main nhen tha sani koi apna
abb tu apni hasti bhula di aur mayal hogay
khud ko socha ha jub tanhai main ja kar
maslihaton ko tarashnay k mahir hogay
youn bhi hota ha aksar khud ko bhol jatay hain
teri ankhon ki jhilmil say jub say ghayal hogay
ishq ka kasa tha muqadar ay naeem
badshah hotay hotay sayal hogay

Ajab sa rishta ha Ajab Tamasha ha

Ajab sa rishta ha ajab tamsha ha
nan tu mera ha nan tu paraya ha

On The Ocean of Love

ON THE OCEAN OF LOVE...
By Rana Naeem Akhtar

Through the ocean of love I found an island which fascinated me and I sailed the boat and landed on the island. It was full of sweet fragrance of delicious attractive fruits. I tasted them one by one and went on then I reached a tree which was not as attractive as others were. I ignored the fruit and went on. I went on and I came across a goddess sitting alone. I asked her who she was. She said she was the goddess of love. I said why you are alone. She replied she rarely got someone who could accompany her. I asked whom you want the company. She said the ones who come and taste nothing but the fruit of that tree which had no attraction and no one tasted that. I said it was natural no one would taste that fruit which was amongst the most enchanting fruits. She said that was the reason she was alone. I said you would never get one to company you she replied nothing and went away.
On my way back I tasted the fruit and sailed back to the ocean of love. As the time passed I felt the immortal taste of the tree my desire to get that taste again and forever. I rushed back to the island. I found each tree with full of fruits with same delicious fragrance. The tree I was looking for was not there nor the goddess. It was late then………

The Mock Story of An Hour

The Story of an Hour
By
Rana Naeem Akhtar

The storm was passing with thunder, the long night of the mid-winter in the late December seemed gloomy with depressed atmosphere all over, and the sky was studded with the lightning of the horrible convulsions shaking the helpless earth.

The tears in the eyes were never ceasing and, it was hard to believe though, the most charming and giggling hilarious lass like her will feel such heavy burden over her heart. She had always been the life of the place and her friends always called her the most spirited young girl. But she was highly emotional youth who believed strongly in her to challenge any indifferent situations against her. She never allowed any emotion to come near to her and she opined to enjoy the life with no single wasted second. She was cunning enough to tackle the youthful problems intelligently but finally her cleverness surrendered against the enchanting tricks and whose charms made her way lost.
“There is no such feeling we call ‘love’”, she always had remarked her friends before becoming a victim of the ever lived plague.

“The love is an immortal feeling which never requires any physical pleasure” she had always said to him and her own temporary joyous feelings had transformed to that of permanent serious notion of spirituality in the true love.

“We will make the world believe that there exists the true love which is beyond the boundaries measured by the world”, he always expressed his feelings with great emotions. “You are my first love and you will remain as the last love of mine and I believe that I will never break your trust and you will always feel proud in your love”

The more she remembered the words of him, The more her eyes were getting wet and she had started sobbing then, she was in the state of denial in the dark night, the lonely room, and ticking sounds of the clock were not as prominent as the beats of her heart which were going down and dying.

“How can he betray me? How did he cheat and play with me?” He was so innocent and faithful, his words were the proof of his true feelings and he always stated that he will stay with her at any cost, he was her true friend and lover.

“Why did he leave me?” her mind was asking the questions and the heart was quiet feeling guilty, the circumstances seemed to her as overwhelming ghost to terrify her.

He was a different boy who always said to her all the beautiful things, she did all for him whatever he demanded but this sudden change and he had turned his eyes away from her.

“How do you say you love me? How can I trust you? If you can talk to me against your parents and you do whatever I ask, you may do the same for others against me”, he said to her while they were having the last talks an hour ago. “You don’t have any honor, you have betrayed your parents who loved you for twenty years and I am no exception with just 20 months of acquaintance”

“We were good friends and I loved you, but I can’t marry you, I have dreams to make my future bright and for that I have a lot of work to do and you are free to marry whomsoever you like”, he had said the compassionate words to her.

“I never believed you will do this to me, I stood for you against my parents and I didn’t care for them for the sake of your love with this belief that you are my life and we will have a beautiful life together”, she was sobbing when she completed her words “But you have cheated me and I will always suffer because of you”.

These words were echoing in her ears when she noticed her mobile phone received a new message which she couldn’t give attentions because of her grief. She picked up the mobile phone and read the message which was sent by the same boy for the last couple of weeks.

“Will you mind to talk to me? I know you don’t talk to the boys but I am not one of that kind of boys who do friendships with negative intentions”, the message was from the boy of her college who always had tried to talk to her.

It was indeed unbelievable to her that her life will come to cross road where she will find no way to flee.

“No one stays for any one and it will take no time for you to involve yourself in another relation and you will forget me soon, good bye and take care” she remembered his last words devoid of any sign of guilt or worries.

“But it is not possible for me to forget you and I will never forgive you never……” she had shouted upon him with a gleam of tears on her beautiful face.

The mobile had received another message.

“Why don’t you talk to me? Do you love someone or you are in relation that doesn’t allow you to talk to me”. She had never replied him except for the first time when she asked him who he was. She had always believed that one must not talk to any stranger unless he becomes otherwise.

“No, I don’t love any one nor in any relation and I believe” she continued typing,
“There is no such feeling we call ‘love’ ……,” she typed the message and sent to him.
